What do you do at a game against a cupcake like Rice?

Sure, the hours of tailgating/dranking/fellowshipping are lots of fun, but once you get in that stadium, what are you thinking as you watch a game like that? I remember when I used to attend those games I was always missing a real good sec matchup. Or I'd find more entertainment in a good suspense movie or nice dinner, followed by that legendary creme brule. Yes-siree, I prep it and she serves it up. Approximately how many will attend this game against rice?

You clap and support the team. The same as you do every other game. Come on, j.

Pray for an offensive explosion!

Then after mom drives us back home, I can get on TD and shove it in the anti SE faces!

Many will be thinking "how can we look this bad offensively against Rice?". Don't get me wrong, the outcome will never be in doubt but it's not like it will be boring because of the ease of victory. It will have little entertainment value because the Tigers will play down to the Owls' level. It's like watching someone pushing a chain up a hill.

I see sabamm scheduled a cupcake this week too. These games screw the season ticket holders. I detest these matchups.

Since I've been living in Houston, we go to about 1 game a year, usually at the mercy of my friends who have season tickets. This was the one game that was easy to get and worked with our schedule, and more importantly our kids and their activities. I'm looking forward to the band, pre-game and watching the Tigers score some touchdowns, something they haven't been able to do against Bama lately, which would be maddening to witness in the stadium, even though the atmosphere is awesome. Well it's maddening to watch on TV too!!! We all know it's 99.9% we win easily over Rice, but I'm going to show up, root for the Tigers, enjoy the game and being back on campus.

You run EXACTLY the same game plan you would against UGA or Bama. No more, definitely not less.

Down & distance matter, but the scoreboard does not.

I went to the game against Kent State in 2013. Got to see an amazing behind the back catch by Odell Beckham Jr of a kickoff. He did that standing in the end zone.

Stayed until the final buzzer. I rarely get to go to games in person. When I do, I enjoy every bit of it.

Rice is coming to play and their defense isn't a joke. I'm convinced that LSU was looking past bama and Arkansas worried about Rice. Probably why they didn't take bama seriously. They're going to have to learn not to look ahead like that. Anyway Rice has a complex offense that can score in many different ways. I hope Aranda has the secondary healthy and ready.
