Other than that Ms. Lincoln, how did you like the play.

Statistically, there's very little difference between the two, with an edge going to JJ, even in passing.

If he EVER came out and said "I really sucked out there today, but my teammates picked me up", then some of us might find it a little easier to like the guy. He probably thinks he had a good game.
wouldnt happen in a million years....JJ feels JJ can do know wrong..

Especially yesterday. He really shined.

Well, my question is, if Lee is so much greater:

1) Why has he never beaten JJ in a QB competition?
quote:they do, are you seriously asking this question? lee leads the sec in passing eff..
2) Why don't the statistics back this up?
quote:ego, makes him look bad if he's wrong...he cant afford to look bad anymore, ole miss put a hurt on him...
Why is Les Miles knowingly playing a worse player?

I heard a Redshirt Freshman hung out to dry repeatedly by his coaches, a friendly wizard and at least one of his receivers step up to face the media time after time and take responsibility for his errors, even when he was being set up to fail. He wears #12. Maybe that is why some fans "like" him more than the guy that thinks he is Superman after going 4-10 or 5-13 running an offense full of superstars. I have said repeatedly that I believe the best QB on this team, maybe more than one, reside on our bench. I suspect it is adoring coaches and family members that have pumped sunshine up JJ's backside and convinced him he is much better than he is. He was not in the least contrite when he returned from the timeout he took for his indiscretion, instead, it was like the Return of the King, with him writing his own playbill. Again, a chance to have a little humble pie, maybe admit he was a little bit sorry, maybe win over a few fans. Lost opportunity. I hope the team is lifting a crystal ball on January 9, and will then will gladly say goodbye to the 4 checkered years of this mess.

Ok, I'll give you 10 minutes.
Come back with a complete statistical report that indicates Lee is a better player than Jefferson.

This is what I have been saying from the beginning. Miles got clowned hard when it was discovered that Lee was the best quarterback on the team only because an arrest of the starter gave him the chance.

I was hoping we could play the air in new orleans, I heard somewhere that JJ does very well against the air.

You just did? You quoted me and said it's hilarious to think the stats show JJ is better?

Ah yes, when the objective data stands in the way, just throw it out!

dont need it, theres about 4 million sets of eye balls that dont need any numbers to know that JJ is not a very good QB and that Jlee is better....doesnt really matter though, i think Mett is better then both...

So stats, coaches and pro scouts opinions all say JJ is better, but really he isn't?

quote:I said it's hilarious. It is. STATS. I would try to discuss this with you, but you're not a reasonable person. You have a position and you will not budge. You just show up and say the same crap over and over. You do not discuss the play on the field. You know you would be all over this place had Lee done what JJ did in the last two games.

miles never wanted that chance to happen, when lee did well, Miles had to run with it, he even stated it in his quote, "this is Jarrett Lee's team now, anything else would be irresponsible on my part"... weeks later Jlee doesnt see the field...

Actually, he doesn't "rank" because he doesn't have enough attempts. Same with JJ.
But, if both guys did rank, they actually BOTH would lead the SEC in passer eff...Lee at 152.0, JJ at 150.9 (even despite both of their stinkers).

ego, makes him look bad if he's wrong...he cant afford to look bad anymore, ole miss put a hurt on him...
You really think Les gives a frick about "looking bad?" The way he talks to the media? And would anything honestly look worse than sticking with JJ "to look right" and losing game while knowingly playing a worse player?
That's a terrible argument.
