His first long pass is still quacking. It will be on a stamp soon

How many did he throw? Wasn't like he had a ton of time. And the intentional grounding was a GOOD play...not a bad one.

Intentional grounding is never a good play.

This is another example of the people on this board that Love JJ continue to make excuses for him. He is our starting QB. He has been playing faily well, but last night was horrible. Stop blameing his bad play on someone else like people has been doing for 3 yrs now.

JJ never had much to do with the win, if not for special teams including the Honey Badger we would have gotten blown out.

Not true. It's often a free option for the QB.

I don't like or dislike either of them. I just find it curious how people are so out of their minds to have something different done at QB, despite the crushing 4TD+ victories each and every week.

I find it curious why someone such as yourself would chose to start such a retarded thread.

JJ couldnt hit the broad side of a barn last night.

I think he will go in the third round with those amazing throws.

Mostly because I'm weary of the CONSTANT bickering about JL vs JJ. I mean, in the immediate wake of the game - the SEC Title Game in which LSU completed a 13-0 season by absolutely decimating almost every opponent by many TD's - the Score Board was littered with threads with people whining about the QB situation. It just seems pathological at this point.

This makes zero sense bc of the loss of down.

You may be tired of the bickering, but everyone else is tired of the 5/13 30 yd performances. Its painfully obvious that the offense was much much better with Lee starting and JJ coming in later on to do his rushing thing.

Is this a serious thread? He severely underthrew what could have been a touchdown pass or, even with a decent throw, a big play. He didn't have that many chances to frick up because he only got 3 snaps a series with no exceptions.

It makes a lot of sense. There's a chance the flag won't be thrown. If you get sacked, you lose the yardage anyway and the down. If you don't get the flag, you get the ball back at the LoS.

In the old days, I believe, it was a 10 or 15 yard penalty and the loss of down. When they switched it to being a spot foul, that changed the tactics of how to treat the penalty.

He played like crap, had a couple of potential INT's dropped but LSU won which kind of validates my belief that team would win with Erin Andrews behind center.

i'd much rather get behind her playing center

Jefferson has started an lsu has scored 40+ points in every game so far.

The complaining is ridiculous.

He didn't have a great half, but to listen to some of the posters here they're giving no credit at all to UGA. The UGA defense was playing lights out in the first half. They controlled the line of scrimmage and had good coverage. But it seems some people only see what they want to see.

See, the problem with this is we aren't just looking at stats. We saw open receivers missed badly. We saw a should-be touchdown rifled into the ground. We saw a could-be touchdown underthrown very badly.

first pass to randle. He was open behind the defense had to come back for it cause it was underthrown. over threw sheppard at the 30 yard line should have been intercepted. Over threw another receiver around the 20-30 yard line when the ball actually went through a defenders hands. no first downs and only 12 offensive yards. Its hard to run when the defense is selling out for the run cause they know your QB wouldn't be able to complete a pass if everyone on the defense had on blinders and couldn't see.

Amen. End Thread.
