I do see your point. 8-win SC is more attractive than 7-win SC. I just think SC is Outback bound anyway.

ETA: I had a paragraph on why SC is a lock, comparing them to Vandy and Kentucky. Don't have a clue where it went.

Question: Outback ? Chick-Fil-A

Definitely the Chick-Fil-A bowl. The Outback Bowl- 10 AM start against more than likely an Iowa, Michigan State or Northwestern team- no thankyou!

Chick-Fil-A bowl is a primetime New Year's eve game and presents a much more exciting matchup!

I prefer a Chik Fil-A to an Outback Bowl invitation, too. Much more competitive. But, take note, Tiger fans:

I attended an early-season matchup between Rutgers and UNC (at RU). It was no contest. UNC cruised by 30+ points. This team has SEC-caliber speed, offensive balance and some impressive passing routes that might just give the LSU DBs fits.

Do you think the Chick-Fil-A Bowl is really considering them? I heard they were in the mix and are now out of it? I'm sure a win over rival Duke would help their cause. Not only that, I know they would travel well too. Thoughts on UNC?

Haven't seen UNC play this year. Don't really keep up with ACC ball.

If/When LSU wins Friday, it's a lock for Chick-fil-a or Cotton Bowl IMHO. The Cotton would LOVE to have LSU. They would bring MUCH more fans than Ole Miss, plus they still make the final decision in the matter.

It will come down to who the Cotton Bowl picks because I think they pick before the Chick-Fil-A bowl. If the Cotton Bowl picks Ole Miss we will go to the Chick Bowl imo.
