1. U of Houston at LSU.

Absolutely the low point of LSU football for me. Fortunately I had already graduated before the Hallman era. Of course Dinardo was fired the next day

that was a necessary loss. I knew we had to get pantsed in that game to get Gerry D out the door. Joe Dean was booed off the field by the students that night as he left the stadium. Antoine Smith ran all over us that night.

I had to dump so badly during that game and just said F it and left the game. Don't regret it one bit.

@ Auburn '02 - drizzled rain that whole game and I was way hungover. Also, Marcus Randall threw a thousand interceptions. It was a huge let down after the USCe beatdown the week before.

Tenn '05 - everything after halftime.

(4) Florida 2003. So traumatic that I have repressed most memories associated with the game. My lingering impression: Florida's RB running free. As the clock wound down, a slight drizzle fell.

I don't remember that game having rain. And Florida only had 81 yards rushing. I just remember waiting for our offense to do something...anything. Our only score was a Skyler Green return for a touchdown.

Miami 1988 - 1988 was a good season, but Miami 1988 was a sign of things to come. 44-3 loss in the worst coldest rain ever in Tiger Stadium. That was my senior year and it was the first and only game I ever left early.

It was an unexpected sunshower or light drizzle at the very, very end of the game. (Of course, it could have been a figment of my battered mind.) As for the reference to the "RB running free," I should have been more clear: I was alluding to the plays on which the RB was a receiver running down the middle of the field uncovered because our LB's failed to follow him. They killed us with that tactic. And you're right about the offense. It stunk.

97 Vandy- drove to Nashvegas from N. Ga. with my then girlfriend. She policed my drinking. Saw Cecil break his leg. Watched a 28 pt favorite have to block a last sec xtra pt to win 10-9. Was so pissed about their play, I refused to drive the 9 hts to TS the next wk to see them get destroyed by Fla. We all know how that turned out. (and I Fkin missed it)
96 Bama- for the west. Cold as hell (for BR). No Dennis Riddle ! Take the opening drive right down that vaunted D's throat. Play action to a wide arse open LaFleur. Broke the huddle with 12. Proceed to score a total of 0, while watching the Shaun Alexander show ( 291 yds).
Ties- 97 auburn, 97 Notre dame (sleet. Some geriatric Irish fan telling me to sit down every 3 min during the first qtr), 99 auburn-cigar game, 98 Kentucky (Tim couch passing camp), 04 UGA (Hester's first ever carry/ 1st and only fumble. Xavier Carter kneel on the 1)

LSU Miami - I believe it was 1988 under Archer, #1 U came in and creamed LSU and it was the most rain I've ever sat in.

THIS - Most miserable game I have ever been to.

2002 had both - almost died in the heat of the Mississippi State game and then November 16 happened - worst LSU game I ever watched in person.

Anyone who says any game during our golden years 2000-current just doesn't know what true misery is. I know its a broken record but I wish the younger fans could get a taste of what LSU fans experienced during the Curley years. Then maybe you wouldn't see nearly the bitching that goes on now.

You are correct! It was Nov. 19, 1988 and the final score was 3-44! The game wasn't that close! At least we didn't have to sit in the Dome on 1/9/12 in a driving rain storm!

Made the mistaske of going to Gainesville twice during college, 2006 and 2008. Really dont know which loss was worse.

2006- plege class trip of 40 something guys, one has a panic attack on the way down and we all had to stop while our big 6'4 buddy screamed for a priest and kicked everyone who came near him in the face (first experience with a panic attack). game we sat in the very top row of Ben-Hill Griffin stadium in the heat while we watched every single thing possible go wrong, like a fumble into the endzone and a pass in the endzone intercepted off a helmet!

2008- Went down with g/f at the time and some other couples. LSU got absolutely demolished. Had a white trash girl in jean shorts scream at us all game until I got a chant of "a** tight jean shorts" started by all LSU fans in our area. Had some jerkoff keep coming and sitting next to me and smiling after everytime they scored. End of third quarter, he sat next to me again after a TD so I smashed my g/f cheese nachos in his face and then was very "politely" told to leave by security.

Everything about the Troy game in 2008 except for the comeback. Weather, the first half of play...

One shouldn't laugh at a medical condition, but nonetheless I did.

I swear I'm a responsible adult and I should not condone such behavior, but I enjoyed this tale anyway. There is nothing in the world so enjoyable as the comraderie of the LSU traveling fan contingent.

Going back now;
vs A&M 75- was like watching football follies in TS while they slaughtered us!

vs Bama 79- They were #1 but watch the great E Martin drop TD pass in EZ in the rain & 0-3L.

Sugar Bowls vs Nebraska 85 & 87- got mauled by Big Red both times (they bring the wood)!

vs UM Hurricanes 88- was like a hurricane really!

vs UF 93- worst loss TS history!

N.O. Saints @ Steelers 93- I know, not LSU but was most devestating loss had witnessed live anyway

vs Houston 99- as stated before a must loss!

vs UAB 2000- Unbelievable loss then turnaround next week!

vs UF 2003- As stated the middle zone exploited entire game.

@ UGA 2004- was mistake plagued affair in rude Dawg country.

Cap-1 Bowl vs Iowa 2005- just maddening to sit there watch him coast into EZ ( I guess payback for Bluegrass Miracle?)

vs Tenn. 2005- Katrina/Rita fatigue game! Felt like a suana!

SECCG vs UGA 2005- Season fatigue caught up with us.

@ AU 2006- Refgate, horrible ending!

vs Ark kansas 2007- watched NT slip away as nite fell in TS so we thought!

Cap-1 Bowl vs PS 2010- Most miserable game to watch live ever!

The Saints started 5-0 and had a bye week before that Steelers game. They got beat 37-6. TURRIBLE game.

'93 vs. Florida @ B.R., most lopsided loss in LSU's history. Hallman had sunk the program to level of Toolame by being routed & was fortunate to score a measly FG.
