My real thoughts?? The Tigers lack intensity in most aspects of the game. The Offense, and coaching staff seem to be lacking the most though.

Everything I have heard (or read on here) from others is that recruits & ex-players seem to think Miles is pretty sharp & actually knows something about running a football program.

Amen. One can only hope that Miles peruses this board in search of info on how to right te ship.

My thoughts are that our program is in decline. Coaching changes must be made, beginning with the OC. If not, we will continue to regress and ultimately end up as a middle of the pack SEC team.

I am an LSU fan.
I have attended/watched LSU sporting events since Joe Labruzzo (I know, its mis-spelled) toted the rock and Pete Maravich signed an autograph for me. I am fortunate enough to be able to gripe about real and/or imagined shortcomings of "my team"... to whomever will listen.
I sleep well at night even when the ref's choose the winner...
I suffered through the hallman years!! But I have also seen some really exciting/good timesÉ
I work a 50 hour a week job that holds me accountable to my performance,
I have a family that I love and appreciate and I consider myself fortunate to have the friends that I have.
I live in a country that allows me to worship the way I choose and participate in the political process at whatever level I chooseÉ
All in all life is good..
Ya'll have a nice d...

frick all you people with "his record is this, and his bowl record is that."
The reason you don't wish to talk about his record is cause his success, 50 wins in less that 5 yrs, 4-0 in bowl with 2 BCS wins, his finishing in the top 5 three times in his 4+ yrs, a national title, and his 4 yr+ winning percentage being the best in school HISTORY all rain down pizz on your opinion.
Anyone not fully enjoying LSU football in this decade, a decade NEVER witnessed before in LSU football history, needs to seek help from their mental health provider. imo

PrattLSU-there are alot more fans who feel the way you do. And I'm starting to agree with the guy that said -no matter how much talent Miles has he will always lose 2 games. And so far that has been true

To be honest I am truly concerned with the future of the program. While I didn't always agree with his schemes I think we miss Pelini more than most of us realize. I think he provided the instensity and discipline (to the whole program ,not just the defense) that any orginazation needs to be successful. Anyone remember that game in 07 when he chewed out one of the offensive lineman for screwing up? I don't think its a coincedence things have dropped off since he left. Unlike some I don't think Miles is an idiot but I have serious doubts about his ability to run a tight enough ship.

I bet your arse wasn't complaining about the two losses when he was hoisting the crystal ball.

I agree with you Pratt LSU, for 4 million a year it seems like we can do better.
+1
Many coaches are doing more with less talent.

so much better than the 90's it's pitiful.

+1 Take it from someone who knows, enjoy the fricking good times. Les Miles is a successful coach that has a great record at LSU, be thankful you have him as a coach.
I'm beginning to think LSU may have some crazier fans than Bama, and that's tough to do.
LSU has experienced the best decade in the history of your program, and it's not over yet. When you've gone thru some of the hardest times in your schools history, you learn real quick to appreciate the good times while there here.

As an Alabama fan, are you glad Les is coaching LSU?

We need to bring this link back up after the next 2 games. I think many will have a different opinion if we are 10-2 and going to the Capital One Bowl. If we lose either of these next 2 games, and it may depend on how we lose them, the REAL thoughts can be touched on again. It is what it is at LSU, right now. Love it or leave it. Miles is the coach, Crowton is the OC. Maybe the giant will awaken this weekend and all things begin to click..Maybe not? 8-2 is more than what I expected at the beginning of the year. One game at a time and I will be back to comment about the 3 TD's we create with throws to Lafell over the middle! Ha!

Hell no! I want y'all to jet him up North somewhere and a get clown like Mike Dubose to take his place.
Your fans keep bashing the guy and saying shite like he has no intensity, he can't manage a game, he can't get his players motivated, he can't coach talent. That's all just a bunch of bullshite, IMO.
The guy has not had an experienced QB in how many years? Come on folks, what the hell do you expect him to do, jump on the field and play QB himself?
If nothing else, Miles deserves the respect and support from his own fricking fans. He's earned that ten-fold, IMO.
Some of your fans act like spoiled arse todlers. You are experiencing the best decade of your programs history and you don't appreciate it. How fricking sad!

Good to hear, bc an Auburn poster the other day said he and many people he knows were glad that Miles stayed at LSU.
