What are you looking for this year?

The biggest thing for me is intensity and competitiveness.
This LSU squad has been EXTREMELY vanilla the past few years. It seems like they’ve just been out there running plays and not trying to do ANYTHING necessary to win. I want to see scrappiness! Honey badger type scrappiness. If you’re gonna get beat then you gotta come out of the game because you’re injured type scrappiness. I could really care less about playcalling or scheme. Go out there with the mentality that you will not be denied and you can do anything.

A competent, coherent, entertaining offense. The defense will be that and more.
12 Regular season games that are entertaining and the offense is more well rounded and open (not WIDE open. Just ...better).

For nearly a decade the complaints were all about the offense.
If that hasn’t been addressed what the hell are we spinning our wheels for.
Things worked out and we got a QB with a great background that will give us as good a chance as we’ll ever have to reverse our fortunes on that side of the ball.
The only question is whether we have the staff to do it as well.

8 wins is the absolute floor. I'll be happy with 9+.
I want to see a more diverse offense.
I want the defense to completely dominate games start to finish, beginning of the season through the end.
I want our kicker to be more dependable than years past.
I want to be in the hunt for the West.
I want to be in the conversation for the playoffs.
I want to embarrass somebody in a good bowl game.

I am looking for a new era of offense and quarterback development. I will give E credit for recognizing what LSU has been needing for a long time. I think 8-4 is decent, 9-3 good. Anything above that is really good year.

The offense, imo, will improve as players develop chemistry together. Talent is there.
