because so many people agree with this is exactly why it makes more financial sense to wait. Tickets will be available, they always have been and always will be (USC '79, Bama '96, Notre Dame ' 97, Fla '07, etc)
I do agree that a stroll through some of the RV lots with a sign isn't a bad idea early in the day but if you don't find them real early, just wait.
You don't have to scramble you just need to be patient. Sit back and enjoy your tailgate and start your search about 30 minutes before kickoff.

Don't buy East or west Upper Deck tickets. It'll be colder up there than Pennsylvania.

RV Lots are south of the stadium. I think they would be pretty hard to miss.
