What are the odds Kelly WANTS to get fired?

With that contract, doesn’t he just then get to retire and still get most all of the money he’d have gotten if he worked another 5+ yrs?

Jimbo's stupid deal was put into place after Woodward was gone, and he had coached 4 seasons on his original contract.

Nope.
He gets (I think) 90% of his remaining salary paid in monthly installments if he is fired without cause.
If he retires, he gets no further compensation.
if he leaves for another job, he owes LSU a buyout, but I am not sure how much that is.
