Everybody knows that he can blow people up, but what else does he do exceptionally well and what does he need work on?

Also, do you think he'll be a first round draft pick at the end of this season? If not, why?

The only weakness about Chad Jones is that there is only one of him

He probably won't this year with all the quality safeties coming out, but hes got a good shot if he stays his senior year.

I'd like to see a little more movement on his fastball...

I don't think we've seen him in one spot long enough to know what his strengths and weaknesses are...this year should tell.

Big, fast, strong in run support. Can lay the wood. This season will let us know all about him.

He's looked pretty good when we've had him at his natural FS position. If he knows his assignment, he's a great player.

strengths: NFL size, good speed(until proven otherwise at the combine), good instincts, can play multiple positions: SS/FS/(this wont be popular)OLB

weaknesses: played too many positons last year, causing him to be unsure with assignments, making him to play slow. so i guess you can say "picking up the system" as a weakness. i believe his biggest weakness will be fulfilling is huge potential. he showed up on campus as a legendary figure, yet has done minimal on the field to suggest hes as special as billed. his freshman year, he didnt start b/c of good depth ahead of him. last year, he started, but had minimal guidence from the coordinators.

i believe chad jones will show why he was so highly touted coming out of highschool. hopefully cooper and the chief will make things simple and unleash him.

draft stock: CJ has first rd talent written all over him. problem is, if he leaves after season, it is already a VERY strong saftey draft class with taylor mayes and eric berry likley entering the draft. if CJ really wants to make some $ in the NFL, he would stay for his senior year, kill it for the tigahs, and enter the draft post senior year alot like laron did. who knows if hes going to wait it out, but it would be the smart move in the long run.

Well he looks a hell of a lot more comfortable at the FS position then he did last year when they had him wearing a thousand different hats. What rellt impressed me the most when I saw him at a couple of practices was his ability to close, Chad has some serious speed. Plus he just lays the wood.

Chad is going to be murking fools all season.
