And every team in America has had to deal with COVID, why has it affected LSU more than others?

Every team in America didn't lose a Helare, Burrow, Chase, Jefferson, Moss, 4/5 of its OL, and Queen, all starters in the NFL.
He deserves a chance to replace/coach the replacements before you call the moving van.

offense....looks terrible so far but it has only been 3 games with young players.

it's looks terrible and we haven't played even an average offensive team yet. even after the lsu game our highest ppg team we faced is Missouri at 54th.

our rebuild year shouldn't include losing to Missouri and miss state. our rebuild years are years its ok to lose to auburn Florida bama. we are 1-2 and that was the easy part of our schedule.
lsu is lone win on both miss state and Missouri's record.

and no one is calling for O to be fired. after last year he has another 3 years after this year imo

We might only win three games.... and a revenge minded Bama team will score 60 on us at least.......

Can’t really pay it any mind. Most people on this board were trashing him when he was hired so they want to be right about him bring a bad hire. He clearly showed that he knows how to build a winning team, he will get it right. I’ll admit that I didn’t trust him when he was hired but I think it’s ignorant to think that way now..

That had absolutely nothing to do with COVID. My question was why the poster thought COVID affected LSU more than other schools. Reading comprehension much?

should get all the credit a Championship head coach deserves but to be fair a lot of key guys from that team like Lawrence, Fulton, Divinity, Sullivan, Logan, Anthony, Lewis and Cush were all from Miles last recruiting class. Trust me I was never a Miles guy but those players were his kids from the 2016 class.

Except that Miles wouldn't have won a National Championship with that team

well losing to Mizzou and getting blasted by Miss St will do that.

Nah!
How do you account for the negativity against Brennan prior to the season start and even after a 300 yard performance in his first start.
There were nega tigers blaming him for the Ms St loss, and the Mo loss..

Guaranteed the 2 shite heads listed above are sweating bullets because they know its over if they don’t produce this year (see Matt Canada).

So are we to pretend that making bad hires and firing them a year later is a positive attribute in a coach? If that’s our game plan, we better stop giving these big arse contracts.

ETA: I give O full credit for last year, but as such, he has to be held responsible for the shite show that is this year. He definitely has to be held responsible for hiring bad assistants when his selling point was that he would get the best assistants.

Here we go with this crap Again. Same thing Les got with the 07 team being “saban’s players” and I didn’t agree with it then and I don’t now.

I don’t give an eff who recruited the player if you are coached by a guy for 3 seasons you are his guy. May not have came to the school because of that coach but that coach is the one that influenced you more.

Plenty of G5 QBs get drafted. Why would you want to go to LSU if you were a QB before 2018; showcase your ability to handoff?

Covid played a big part. No Spring practice, and a convoluted Fall practice. How can you get "team cohesion" with new players at almost every position, in conjunction with adapting to a new defensive scheme.
Analytical skills?

I'm tired of the eternal whining and crying.... just improve a little Orgeron, just a little, and i will be somewhat content... this clusterfuk is unacceptable
no matter what the lame excuse is by all these armchair QB's.

Well most people don’t understand football, so when a team loses it is the QB or schematic mistakes like running man instead of zone etc. People get upset at loss and want something easy to blame as the “obvious” problem/solution when in reality, generally the problem/solution is very complex. Happens with politics also.
