We will lose the 3 best players we have next year too. Great recruiter but elementary basketball IQ

I guess the basketball team still sucks.

1 player can't make that much of a difference when the supporting cast and coach aren't that good.

Ben Simmons has been a turnover machine and continues to make the same mistake and 3pt shooting and free throw shooting has been horrendous. There wasn't any urgency in the first half until we went down by 20

I have been paying too much attention to hoops and I am just about over it -- especially the desire to have a team that's top 5-10 material.

Stanley Roberts, Harold Boudreaux, and Mo Williamson having to prop 48 in '88-89...then, when we have them and Shaq, CJ starts to check out on us.

Then, Shaq's JR season and his step-dad talking about finishing all 4 years (which he later did)...just more 2nd round and bounce hoopla.

How about '06 had Bass stayed another year to play with Baby AND TT? Or Randolph to stay and play with that 2009 squad?

Yes, basketball has provided more disappointments than I care to recall. I could not be less shocked at a 3-3 start with this team.

I've been bashed here for three years for talking shite about JJ....hell I was even banned for comments in his first year of coaching.

I'm numb to it at this point.

Did no one pay attention last year when we had 2 first round draft picks and we barely made the tournament?

Then ask yourself how many teams in the sweet 16, elite 8, and final 4 had no one drafted at all.

Everything that a well coached team does....LSU does not.

The problem with a guard orientated team is if the shots aren't falling there is no way you can win.
