Noel Devine and Jock Sanders are legit. That's about it.

ND and JS are legit, as are Geno Smith and Tavon Austin. Austin had 7 catches for 106 yards and 2tds.

Actually all of our skill positions are pretty damn sick, but like I said, the oline is still a big concern.

I am not here guaranteeing a WVU victory or anything like that. I just believe that if both teams bring their A games it will be much closer than you think.

Charlietown- Thanks for your insight from a WV perspective, and welcome to the rant...

Thanks Texas, I couldnt have been more thrilled when I found out we were playing you guys.

IMHO TS is up there with all the big venues, Texas, USC, OSU . . .

This will also be first visit to NOLA, so this is going to be a fantastic trip for me.

honestly, be prepared to experience some of the most friendly people in the nation. at the game, you will get tigerbaited by most fans. however, most of the time, they will give you a free beer right after. you shouldn't have to spend any money on beverages as you can drink free on us. we will also feed you for free. as a matter of fact, you won't experience hunger for two days after.

anyway, enjoy the food and the excitement that is lsu football. you are fixing to make a lifelong memory and that is what life's all about.

Get your rest this week and don't drink a lot Friday. Tailgating starts bright and early Saturday. Wear shorts and comfortable shoes, it's going to be hot as hell. Wear your schools colors with pride and have a good time! have a safe trip. See ya Saturday

I haven't heard anything that Charlietown has said that doesn't make good sense. And if our team takes WVU as lightly as some of the posters here, they will jump up and bite us on the arse. The Mountaineers can do nothing other than look at this game as their proving ground and an opportunity to demonstrate their legitamacy. Count on a solid team with some good talent bringing its "A" game.

Charlietown, is that great race track still there? I used to go there every now and again when I was exiled in Blacksburg.

And if you need some info on NOLA eateries and the like, let us know. You will enjoy yourself.

Actually, size doesnt seem to be the issue.

LT-Barclay 6'4" 304
LG-Jenkins 6'3" 300
C-Madsen 6'4" 290
RG-Jobe 6'2 290
Rt-Braun 6'4" 308

Not huge, but not undersized either.

The biggest problem seems to be speed and technique, not brute strength.

We are staying at W on Chartres Street in NOLA:

I watched the Maryland and Marshall games. I'll throw out the Marshall game because Marshall was geeked and WVU looked flat. WVU has tons of speed on offense, but no real size at the skill positions other than the FB. Their offense could cause some problems with the speed. The QB looks good, but he has not really seen pressure like he'll see next weekend.

On defense they look stout against the run, but seem to give up the big pass play. Since we haven't proven we can throw the ball down the field, I think their D matches up well in this one.

Should be a good game.

Glad to see WVU coming in off a good performance. I want a good game, and a confident Mountaineer squad could be tricky for LSU. I can't wait.

What some of my WV friends say about Louisiana: "So, we're not the only ones".

You nailed it Katy.

The two big pass plays came against Pat Miller who was in for the suspended Brandon Hogan. Hogan was suspended due to getting a DUI.

Obviously I am hoping BH is back for us on Saturday. He is pretty good, possibly a sunday player.

I've got a couple of buddies in Houston who went to WVU. One of them has a daughter there now. I watch your games and my buddies watch LSU so we can discuss CFB. We've been looking forward to this one since it was first announced.

OU is garbage. They arent shite without bradford. They are the 3rd best team in an overrated conference. maybe not even that.

Who is WVU? The team with NCs, famous players and coaches from the state of West By God Virginia is Marshall.
