Getting ready the The Tour De France.
I just rewatched the game. Welter played better than jones, louis, and beckwith.
Kwon picked it up in 2nd half, but he was pretty horrible in 1st half.
Welter broke up a pass play with 1:40 on a 3rd down that was big.
I think most of you have an agenda for whatever reason. Maybe you think by being critical and dog piling on a player you appear to be a super fan.
I guess you people would rather bitch and moan about something you really don't know all that much about than enjoy a very nice come from behind victory.

Sorry but there is no excuse for a starting middle linebacker to have one tackle against a team that runs between the tackles constantly. May be a good idea to let Beckwith take over.

Welter isn't Minter or Sheppard. There isn't a Minter or Sheppard on the roster. LSU rotates LB positions with regularity, and some of you don't even notice...

MLB is you're most important player on defense and you don't rotate them. You simply give them a breather if needed. Teams don't run a two MLB system.
You do rotate OLBs. Not MLBs bruh.

He didn't get abused last night but the kid is a liability. Im sure he does all the right things but we are so much weaker with him in the middle. Teams are going to continue to exploit it unless we get beckwith on the field.

The answer is so obvious, how the hell can this many posters not get it.
To stop an offense you need a certain level of complexity in your defensive schemes. Beckwith does not have all of those mastered. Therefore they give him as many packages as he can handle, and put him in whenever the schemes allow it. Same thing happened to Minter at the EXACT same stage of his career. Crimminy, I'd think you would get this concept after just seeing it three years ago.
BTW, the exact same thing is happening to Fournette. Wisconsin was able to key on him because they were confident LSU couldn't mix it up when he was in there.

I think you are confused. I haven't said Beckwith should be starting. I'm just saying Welter didn't get taken out just for rotation purposes. He got pulled for multiple series for sucking.

During Kevin Minter's first season, he rotated with Kelvin Sheppard.
He had 4 solo tackles in the first game vs UNC. So, you obviously don't keep up much with LSU football.
