Will it be the usual we are here just for the free stuff or one who wants to put them away from the start?

Hopefully, Miles' LSU teams have rolled opponents in four bowl games. So I don't know how one can say a lackluster performance is "usual."

We also haven't won a bowl game since 2010. But we have had a month to get ready. No reason to come out sluggish. However, I see it as a game similar to the 2009 capital one bowl. The field will be in better shape though

Does Ole Miss ring a bell? Question will be answered by the end of the first quarter.

it's amazing how miles won every bowl game the first 4 or 5 years he was here and has lost every bowl game since. the team always seemed so fired up but recently has appeared lethargic.

i would not at all be surprised today if iowa beats us solidly. our biggest weakness is their biggest strength (soft up the middle vs strong up the middle running attack). we will need to score a lot of points to win, imo, and with a true freshman qb that is almost too much to ask.

our defense has to answer the bell and our team has to be motivated.

Let's hope they are better prepared to play than against Ark and OM or it may be ugly with big time recruits about to make decisions.
