The price of success is extremely steep!

As long as we have top 3 recruiting classes none of that matters. LSU makes unknown coaches famous.

Losing 7 starting juniors, and we still haven’t heard from Moss, along with our seniors is going to sting worse than anyone thinks.

LSU was the team in the Power 5 last year that brought back the most starters with 16. This year it will be more like 6 and if you look at the record books there is a direct correlation between amount of starters coming back and wins.

I hear you but if that's the cost of having the greatest team of all time, then I'm okay with it. MB will still have some Playmakers around him and we'll have to get the ball out of his hands quicker. The defense will be a project but we have a lot of good defensive lineman returning as well as Derek Stingley. If they are a 3 loss team next year on their way to having an even better next year then that's something to look forward to as well

If you keep your house in good shape (commitment to excellence and keeping people like Les Miles away), you'll get there again.

Which is why we need even more analysts. It allows for the pipeline to roll on

I call it Two Deep Leadership. A good leader always is developing the replacement in the wings for when good people get promoted. Hire great people! Coach them up! Always be working on their successors from within. Expect them to get promoted! Keep the cycle going.

Unlike Saban, his turnover is based on the Nicktator micro-management that drives people away. They are willing to endure for a while for the learning, but then it’s time to go.

The price is worth the success. The success that we had this season remains longer than any and all of the departures. You know what else? There will be an LSU team out there on the field with an opportunity to create their own success. Who knows what they can accomplish, the games will still have to be played. Geaux Tigers

LSU is special because Louisiana has some of the nations top talent and has no instate school to compete with for the elite talent.

LSU is also strong enough to poach a few players from the surrounding states who also have elite talent.
