I’lll love to see Jackson shed 5-15 pounds and get closer to the athleticism he showed as a freshman.

The truth is that none of our RBs really stand out. I don’t know how much of it has to do with coaching, but all of them pretty much lack speed with the exception of Emery. Emery was the only one that showed the ability to read and get through holes fast before they closed. It sucks that he kept getting injured because he would have 100% been our star RB had he not gotten injured.

Durham possesses great vision, quickness and explosiveness. However, at this stage Williams sets up his blocks better, breaks tackles better and to your point, pass blocks better. Comparing a true freshman to a sixth year player is totally unfair. Durham clearly has a higher ceiling.

Caden Durham looks like he can be one of the best RBs in LSU history. Did we watch the same games?

I’m not writing him off yet, let’s see how he performs in Spring and how he shows up for fall camp. He showed a burst his freshman year that we didn’t see this year, I’m hoping he can fix something to bring that back

Remember, he wanted to play for LSU so much he walked on before getting a scholarship. In today's world I don't think we'll see that again. Josh Williams, the last of purple and gold bleeding Tigees!!

Jackson can be that guy. We'll be fine at that position

One of the worst scholarship running backs I’ve seen at LSU.

Seems like he's the only guy who can get the tough yards.

Lmao what? You know that Durham gets like half of his yardage after contact right? Durham averaged 5.1 yards per carry. Williams averaged 4.1 yards per carry. Josh Williams is a fine college running back. Durham is much better.
