Im hoping Les is at the LA sports hall of fame ceremony next week so I can greet him and tell him he’s my favorite coach of all time

Delusional, that offense is exactly what Kansas needs lacking the talent. It’s the same reason people will never understand that the option wasn’t a bad fit for a school like GT. You have to scheme within your talent level.

Also, people seem to forget that without saban at bama. Miles probably wins another 1-2 with the scheme. LSU just ran into a buzz saw in bama during that era.

It wouldn’t shock me to see him put together some 8-4 type sessions in a year or 2

Maybe or maybe not. All I know is if O doesn’t win at least 10 in the regular season this year then we didn’t upgrade at all. The schedule, experience, QB, defense is all there.

3 SEC West Titles
2 SEC Championships
11 Bowl appearances
Appeared in 2 BCSNC games, Won 1
Total record at LSU 114-34 .770 win percentage.

Like him or not, and yes he needed to go. No need to slander the man his record speaks for it self.

He may not win a dozen games in 3 years. He is useless. After being passed over for 100 open positions, poor ole Kansas comes calling. The match made in Heaven.

I shut down some of my co-workers all the time with this argument. Whenever they start spouting about how much of a clown Les was I tell them:

If Saban never comes back, who is beating the 2011 team? Hell the 2012 team would have been a tossup with Georgia in sec championship game to go on to destroy notre dame in title game. At the very least Les has two championships, and its a 50/50 shot he has a third. How many coaches have won three titles? Hell how many have won 2? Les goes down as one of the greats if that happens.

It's a thin line between multiple titles and getting fired. Saban was that line unfortunately. Yes the game passed him by a bit, but lets appreciate what he did accomplish at LSU and stop putting the man down.

He averaged nearly 11 wins a season at LSU....

he's stubborn because he ways worked

however he usually had more talent than the other team...

At Kansas, he's going to have to coach

I agree with purple spoon. Les is gonna be a problem for the big 12 with those defenses.
