I agree with that. Plus while Rhymes has been mostly consistent, I swear balls are hit right at him 99.9% of the time and he barely needs to show much range. At least it seems like that. Maybe that's just him and his jump on the ball.

DHing him might actually improve his bat too. It's a possibility.

He's made quite a few put outs in foul territory this year.
Obviously he isn't very fast, but he's impressed me enough in LF this year to not want to put him at DH for a guy who is a worse outfielder but has a stronger arm. Thus, also putting McMullen on the bench (which would be the dumbest idea ever).

It's the jumping to conclusions thread I thought

I ain't going to lie, I remember seeing Foster out there last year a lot and each time a ball was in the air he made me nervous.

We should just start Jon Zeringue in RF and be done with it.

You mean the constant gasping of wind every time a ball is hit his way reality

Can you make a powerpoint of all these alleged misplays?
Posted on 5/15/13 at 1:52 pm to thunderbird1100
I honestly think if we were with the old bats it would be Rhymes/Laird/Foster in the OF with McMullen at DH.
But those days are no longer here.

bullshite, it fell right out of his glove.

Was it a running hard/diving play? They usually wont give errors out if hits the glove only in those type of situations.
Regardless, it's pointless. Putting Rhymes at DH is retarded.

Yeah if I had nothing better to do I probably could. But for now you'll just have to settle for the three that have already been mentioned in this thread.
If it was even remotely close defensively, and the difference in offensive production is as big as we all assume, don't you think he would be playing? Maybe Mainieri already has the powerpoint.

No it was a can of corn and he just dropped it. It was early in the season.
