Tepper was ahead of his time. His schemes are tailor made to defend spread and spread-like offenses. Most modern defenses, including ours, incorporate some sort of hybrid safety/linebacker, or as he calls it, the drop linebacker. We just didn't have the personnel to run it when he was here, and he couldn't or wouldn't adapt it to the players we did have.

How was he supposed to implement a 4-year scheme in 2 years!?

That epic Georgia game where they had him single covering Champ Bailey.

QB Quincy Carter said, "I just threw to the open man", and every receiver was open.
LSU/Tepper earned him and 2nd rd draft selection.

Always thought Curly had some nice gear. The 90's sytle hats, the yellow Sweater vs Bama in the pigs game. Bring back that type gear.

We lost, but that loss to them in 98 was the loudest game I've ever been at for the entire game. Back and forth, and the beginning of the bottom dropping out of that season.
