We literally did what both Michigan and Nebraska did ... fired winning nationally respected coaches because they didn't win impressively enough or update their offenses to more trendy systems (basically more passing).
Fans were not happy winning with the run, they wanted high passing stats and 90s Florida like football scores. Michigan and Nebraska did the very same thing. Someone else will do it in the future.
