You never know--Harris could come in after the first quarter and lead LSU to 32 points...

CLM also said Harris would play last week and, at the time, didn't think he meant 2 snaps.

Miles should just stop talking about Harris. Almost borders on teasing the kid in public. Nothing but BS about finding the right opportunity to put him in the game. To make it worse, Jennings is an average QB, at best on a good day.

Well, the last time he did that we got blown the frick out, our offense has never looked worse and Harris couldn't even call the correct play in the huddle. So there's that.

shhhhhh, don't you know...the coaches set him up for failure...just ask any negatiger.

What's this we snap? Does Miles have a mouse in his pocket? If Miles wanted Harris to play he would be playing.

He will probably see limited time the next 2 games, as well as the bowl. You gotta remember, this kid is wide receiver size (listed as 188#) and SEC defenses would love to crush this kid. Let's see how he looks next year after an off-season training program(I walked on at 222# and after 1 off-season was 290#...they know how to build them there!). He is going to be great...let's just make sure he can survive!

I think Jennings will get the starts but we aren't playing for anything special so I fully expect Miles to give BH a few series.

Why would Harris transfer. If he can't beat out Jennings, then there is no guarantee he'd start anywhere else. Not like LSU is QBU.

soulja upvote.

The ONLY way you truly prepare a player to play is to give him game experience. Let him make some mistakes, but LET HIM PLAY. Please, Les, let the kids grow up.

Look, when Beckwith was first inserted, he wasn't great. He looked a bit confused, but look at him now. IMHO he's all SEC material for certain in 2015.

Take the last paragraph and replace Beckwith with Adams, and it still fits.

Take the last paragraph and replace Beckwith with BH, and it still fits. The jury is still out on BH, but I would say it is still very much out on AJ as well.

This is not the reason this is happening, IMO. The idea that Jennings was the most ready QB and his performance the last few games is what is driving this. He has gotten better, but not enough for the opportunities given. They know the defense is there for the next year or two to make a run so the QB position has to provide more production during that span.

The caution is they are not willing to lose a game just to gain experience. It will have to be balanced out with providing the best opportunity to win.

Playing Harris does not mean LSU has a greater chance at losing.

Cam has had Jennings for two years and this is what you got. Just raw talent wise Harris gets the nod. Give him some playing time to polish him up. If not, LSU will watch everyone pass them by. This is squarely on Cam and Les

If AJ is struggling, nothing wrong with bringing AJ in for a series or two and then go with the hot hand.

Is he going to use his other hand?

if one QB is struggling why leave him in the game the whole time to let him flounder?

why can't the other QB be given a chance? they clearly thought he was the better QB when they had him start against auburn.

I see no reason to start AJ anymore. Dude can't pass worth for shite... Harris needs more playing time.

Beckwith has played plenty all season. Miles did exactly what he said he would with him.

What, do you have shite in your ears? I've heard Lacouture's name, and I've seen him playing great.
