We needed that game immediately following the Clemson game.

Especially with Ole Miss coming up.

OL played bad but LT was run blitzing every play. It led to a lot of missed assignments and TFLs. Running PA against a run blitz had dudes on top of Leavitt before he could set & throw.

Defense played great again. Next week will be a solid test and I think we slow the OM offense to a crawl.

The OM defense isn't good but playing on the road, in that environment with all things considered, will be difficult.

I think we escaped injuries. Wright was on the sideline with his helmet on after he went down on STs, so that's a good sign. If Leavitt puts that ball in front of him, he scores on the long pass.

My biggest concern is Leavitt's downfield passing. He has to improve there.

Do you think theres a possibility that LT defense is better than Ole Miss?

chambliss is not good against blitz. baker will blitz his arse. give him time and he will carve us up.

Now, just forget about it. My main concern is they are going to see hybrid varieties of that 3-3-5 defense all season .

Yes. I think they are better scheme-wise. Kiffin brought the best OM defensive players with him to LSU.
