We need to work on simple fielding of punts. Twice last night the returner let the ball hit the ground in front of him and the ball rolled another 20 yards or so.

Puts our offense in a hell of a hole to start a drive.

Ponamsky read on the Rant that posters wanted Stingley off of punt returns.

I expect Stingley to be back there this week.

Koy Moore needs to be replaced ASAP. Put Sage Ryan back there.

Doesn't matter who was hurt, blah, blah, blah. You mean to tell me we don't have ONE person on that team that can run up and simply make a fair catch? Terrible, terrible, coaching. I hollered all night just catch the damn ball. Hell, Pop Warner kids playing on sat morning can do that!!!

It will cost us if we do not get it fixed.

Yes, was making me crazy watching the receiver run away from the ball.

Big negative for field position. Worry less about a big return & more about good hands.

We’ve had trouble finding a punt returner since DJ Chark left.

Ryan has a back injury that he’s recovering from id rather him not be taking hits on special teams. We need him at safety.

There has to be someone other than Stingley or Palmer who cn run up and make a fair catch.

DON'T LET THE BALL HIT THE GROUND.

need to work on our punting too... <40 yd avg (without return) is pitiful.

I guess it doesn't matter when a wheel route is destined to go 65 yds. So what if it is 75.

Worth noting some, and at times alot, of that is on the blockers. Especially the gunners. If they do a better job of keeping the returner/fair catcher "cleaner" then we'll see both more fair catches and returns.

Keep in mind the goal is to return it. Not just not fumble.

If Moore doesn’t know this, it should have been corrected after the first instance
I think it happened more than twice…

Our punt return game hasn’t been this bad since they forced Giles into the role.
