I don't want Les replaced until the replacement undoubtedly has the ability to be the best coach in the SEC. Simply finding someone "better than Les" is a waste of time. There are probably only 4-5 coaches at this time that would be worth making a change for. An emotional decision could lead us to having the next Bill Callahan or Curley Hallman as head coach.

yeah lets be like auburn and blindly panic, fire everyone with no plan except to panic and fire everyone. everyone knew losing perriloux would set us back but frick it, lets fire everyone anyway. even if Miles goes 10-3, losing 3 games by an average of one touchdown, two years after winning a NC. fire him, fire everyone. we're LSU, when faced with adversity we turn our backs on those who have been loyal to us. we deserve to be the only program to never ever stumble. if the HC hires an OC who breaks every offensive record LSU has, who gives a shite if he loses both experienced QBs a year later. if the offense struggles its because he sucks. the HC has had three DCs. two have been fantastic but he sucks anyway. why werent all 3 fantastic? no mistakes ever, everyone gets fired. blind flailing around is the only way to fix the problem.

i really don't know what it will take for some of you to see the man is not fit to be LSU's coach.

Me neither.

i guess you could go back in time and take away the SEC title won with a backup QB in his first ever start, take away the NC, take away the top 5 recruiting. also you could go to all the other coaches who took good programs (kragthorpe and bielema for starters) and put them in the top 10.

The longer the cheaper but the harder the rebuild.
May not be cheaper if we keep losing chances to play in big paying bowl games. Not to mention season ticket sales and LSU gear.

And we've got Fulmer's DC to fully complete the parallel.

Miles MUST stay. He is a GREAT coach

Wrong, but nice try.

Yep, let's just piss away 18 million and get another coach. Now let's pay him how much? How damn stupid some of these people are. We are not frigging 3 and 8.

oh, well, i guess you told me. that start against middle tennesee 3 months earlier must have made the SEC title game seem like a scrimmage. he could have played a game blindfolded at that point.

If Sat. was an isolated incident, I could live with it. If we had taken a shot at a fg and missed and lost, I could deal with it.
I have supported Miles and argued for him for 5 years. But the Debacle In Oxford convinced me I have been wrong. It was, pure and simple, the worst coaching I have ever seen.
$18 mil will seem cheap two years from now if the talent quits coming, the fans don't show up, the gear doesn't sell and the TAF contributions diminish.
It's a business, let's be grown ups and act like it.

Should i post his record?
Only won 8 of his last 15 SEC games......Bush had a high approval rating at the beginning. Get it?
DON'T post his record. What has he done for you lately?
QB situation? Bad...whom to blame? Miles...not Perrilloux. When you are the coach, you are the bottle neck of all decisions involving the football team.
Oline situation.....please. Every program has attrition...and he's an Oline guy?
When are you guys going to just hang it up? The guy needs to go.
And to finalize this, answer this question:
Who do you think would be banging on his door or melting the phone lines of his agent to get him?
Answer....NO ONE! Michigan won't take him.
DO
YOU
GET
IT
NOW?
