The most over exaggerated rhetoric on TD right now is the narrative that we have no pass blocking ability. There have been plenty of pockets that Max has worked since game 1.

This is about keeping a defense honest and taking what’s available.

It doesn’t need to be play calls

Last year when a play broke down max was a threat to take off or improvise. For whatever reason he is not running. Our running game was significantly better last year in Max’s starts and our O line was not

I feel like our offensive play call structure and slow pace is working against Max’s strength. And if the coaches are telling max to try not to run. They need to stop

Well that would be nice and Johnson is a capable run threat but…..as is evident week after week, running quarterbacks, even the really big ones, take a beating. We are not deep with regard to experience at that position. Now that we are in the league play part of the schedule, an injury could cost us a minimum of a couple games.
