I love miles as our coach and want no one else.

But crowton should have been gone before this year.

Will you promise to Bump this win or lose to Bama?

Well I will say this, sabans "prized" coaching tree looks pretty bad right now. Fisher, muschamp, Dooley are not IMO going to live up to the hype. I know it's early. Just a gut feeling.

So, do you guys think that Crowton was actually calling the plays or do you think Miles was in on most of the play calling? It just seems that Crowton has had a reasonable amount of success throughout his career and if I remember correctly, Jimbo's offense wasn't real popular around here even though he has had success as well ... IMO, Crowton's main problem was that he didn't know how to coach the QB's and also his philosophy was nowhere near what Miles wanted to do ... it seems as though the offensive staff is now on the same page and it is working much better

Also. With the right game plan saban can be completely dismantled.

The turd they laid against AU last year was just as bad or worse then tenn in 05 after the hurricane

Last year he was taken behind the shed by spurrier and embarrassed.

And Utah just scored AGAIN

It's funny how Les is 3-2 against Saban....
, also Saban had all those studs back from a national championship team and lost 3 games. If Miles would have lost 3 games with that talent you would be calling for his head.

I find it hard to disagree and will undertake to remind myself of such if this team should lose a game it should not (imho).

Every person on the planet who is not an LSU fan would tell you Saban is a better coach than Les Miles

That may well change on Novemberfrickingfifth.

damn, for such a terrible coach, it is a miracle Miles is 68-17.

What a terrible coach.

Thanks for outing yourself as someone to not be taken serious in football discussion.

i am impressed with how les miles has become less stubborn over the years and is willing to change up his game plan and is starting to tailor the game plan to the talent as well as him finally getting away from being so committed to playing seniors

Is there a bigger message board bitch than the 'I can't wait to be the I told you so dude, if and when OUR team lays an egg' type?

There are so many that are waiting to post if LSU loses a game just so they can drop an "I told you so". Pathetic and sad.

No coach in the SEC is more loved and respected by his players than Les Miles and if you don't think that matters you don't know football.

as i stated before ... we were fortunate enough to come out on the winning side of all of the issues that i listed (which everyone has had a problem with) .... which i also said i think is a big factor as to why the players play so hard for miles and trust in him so much ... i don't think the man is a terrible coach .. but, when you are saying he is the best in the country ... those are flaws that need to be pointed out ... and if you can't see an issue with the decisions that i pointed out in my original post .. then you probably don't need to be the person deciding who should be in a football discussion

Your post about the Auburn game touchdown outed you as someone to not listen to in a conversation about football. The play was already called. Flynn took too long to start the play. We ended up scoring and even if he dropped the pass, there were two seconds left for the field goal. This has been discussed over and over with still shots and video. To use that play as a criticism of Miles is laughable.

I think Les would be at the top of most lists in the country if he was looking for another coaching job.

I haven't always been a huge Miles fan, but this is easily the best 6 game stretch he has coached while at LSU. And I'm not just saying that cuz we are unbeaten.

I literally think he has made all the right calls to this point. I mean there are a few nitpick things, but nothing that could cost us a season. I hope we can say the same about the next 6

laughable? yet i bet you would agree that coaches should put their players in the best position that they can to succeed, correct? In that situation, with one of the best FG kickers ever in the SEC, is it REALLY a better choice to call a pass play to the endzone? when there are a LOT of different things that can go wrong, such as flynn taking too long ... the ball being batted around, intercepted, the referees not stopping the clock at the correct time (just like the South Carolina/Auburn game this past weekend) ... the play has been discussed over and over with still shots and video ... but, that is only breaking it down the way the play unfolded .. i respect other people's opinion of that and i am glad it turned out the way that it did

yes, the way the play unfolded, you are correct ... it worked out fine ... BUT, there were a LOT of other things that could have easily turned out differently ... although i disagreed with the call, i will always say that i admired the onions it took to call that play and i will always admire coach miles for that quality ...

but, again i pose the question ... what if just a few of these ballsy moves backfire? since they didn't he looks like a genius and it does seem that he and his coaching staff are on the same page and it appears that he is doing less micro managing .. there is no way to know that of course though
