Well Mays first year averaged 8.1 points per game at 22.9min from a shooting guard position.
Reid's first year averaging 7.1 ppg at 20.5 min per game. So he isn't a whole lot worse.
But he is a big who is learning to guard guards also. He is having a tough time of it but I think by end of year he is scoring 9pts per game maybe more. If Reid stays for 4 years we will see what happens. He may surpass Mays he may not may was amazing senior year. Would be great if we got a big to last 4 year with us.

Well out of nine years he has made the tournament 5 times already. If he makes it this year it will be 6 of 9 years... So idk what to tell you

Just because they are 5 stars doesn’t mean they’ll have immediate impact, it could take years for them to develope (this will be the excuse when they don’t meet expectations)

Has Wade been sugar coating where his team is against the competition? Nope. I’ve heard him say that Eason is one of the best players in the country, and that youngsters are coming along, but never seen the sunshine pumping like we heard out of O.

If every Five Star is a true Freshman first round pick in the NBA draft, then there may be something to this. No different than in Football, not everyone shows up to the College environment NBA-Ready.

If just making the tourny is your bar for success then you‘ll be easily pleased with Wade.

Lmfao?!! What. So he is on year 5 with LSU but you don't count the tournament that was cancelled or the 1st tournament that he coached the team to get there??
If you don't count those two years then by your logic wade is not on actually on year 5 he is on year 3 with only two complete and his 3rd year is in middle of season.

2021 is only year that counted for you.
2022 is not complete but right now he is still projected to make tournament.

Lol they have been winning games post season nerd. Just last year they almost won't the sec tournament and then got shafted on seeding but lost to a team that should have been in final 4 but lost by 2 points in elite 8.

I’m worried that these recruits are watching and may decide to de-commit. Earlier in the season the Tigers looked like a team that many would want to play for. Now these recruits have to be wondering what they are getting themselves in to. Pinson won’t be here next year, so will there be a half court offense next year?

I'm definitely happy with making the tournament. And that's exactly were I stand.
How long did it take pearl to make his first tournament at auburn? Like think about what your saying. Wade is doing things that have never been done at LSU and he is hitting some bumps. Get behind him and wake tf up.
The post season wins will come most likely next year but this year can surprise people if we get hot. The potential is there.
We never got to see what lsu would have done in 2019 if wade and smart didn't get suspended without being proven guilty.
We never got to see what lsu would do in the post season in 2020.
2021 lsu punched above their belt and if you were not happy with how the overall season turned out with a shite seed after a great sec record and 2points away from a sec tournament championship then I can't do anything for your bias.
God made you with a narrow mind and some people just can't see the big picture. I feel sorry for you and kinda wish you would hop on board...
Or kick rocks and not watch lsu continue to rise and become a household college basketball brand
