All of Miles quotes bother me. He uses words in combination no sane person would ever use.

We dont sustain finishing second.

You sustained finishing dead last, that is what you have sustained.

Undoubtedly you dont sustain finishing second. But you dont mind sustaining piss poor Defensive coaching.

He basically said LSU has not responded well since Alabama locked up the West with that emotional win against us two weeks ago, and he is right considering the past two games. Why does it bother you?

couldn't agree more, but honestly it's all coach speak, when we're winning it's funny Miles-isms (see last week and the lighting of the house quote) when we're losing it's annoying and stupid. It's coach speak all the same, and since that's how LSU athletics want him to roll, that's how he shall roll

Les and his dumb goober quotes. He's starting to wear on my nerves more and more.

I'm back to were I was in 2005 about how I feel about Miles. Which was guarded suspicion. He won me over last year and I started defending him, but now I am losing confidence in him quick. And his dumb coded quotes post game aren't helping.

My sentiments exactly. After 2005 I gave him the benfit of the doubt because of Katrina and no bye weeks, and because LSU spanked Miami in the bowl game (turns out Miami was going down the crapper.)

2006-I blamed the Auburn game on Jimbo Fisher's ultraconservative crap and horrific officiating, and the Florida game on a bad game by Russell in the Swamp. Plus we creamed Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl. (turns out Notre Dame was going down the crapper).

2007-We won the crystal, even though we just have easily could have lost to Auburn, Alabama, and Florida.

Now I think was deluding myself.

If he doesn't change those two pin-head DCs, among other things, he might have to get use to finishing second.

"The capablness of second is a thing that young men like to not have to learn to. Sustainablility of courage of some young men is sometimes a powerful thing when found in an unpleasant situation of finishing second or unwinning."
Future pearl of wisdom from Les.

Sorry, but I don't think I've ever heard of losing a football game as finishing second. If that's what he meant then he is truly retarded.
