re: WE don't need to see a "vertical passing game"

RBs need to know their blocking assignments and the O-line could have played a little better. Other than that it was what I expected it to be; A dose of Blue/Hilliard and bubble screens, field position and smothering defense. No need to show anything more than that. This team is freaking solid and may very well be better than last years squad.

And OBJ on the returns answered a lot of questions from the casual fan/media idiots. I told several family members that we would be more than fine with OBJ returning the kicks, but they werent convinced until Sat Night..place went nuts when he took it to the house, and ballistic when he did it again

Were you not watching their CB's? Damn near all night they were 8+ yards off the LOS. Of course we're gonna call quick passes in the flats. You take what the defense gives you.

The pass protection was shitty early on in the game, mett almost got knocked out. Add that to the fact they were playing off the WR's so far and you people actually want to throw the ball farther downfield? Are you serious?

You keep forcing Mett to take 5 step drops during that game and he probably gets a concussion or worse before its over.

Yet, you keep throwing quick passes and screens and that cancels out their pass rush. Anyone notice we really started those quick passes after his big hit?

Some of you are retarded as frick when it comes to football. Yes, I would have liked to see deep bombs all night as well, but with what was happening to our QB and the cushion their CB's were giving us, you take those 5 yard plays all day.
