We could do a better job at wrapping up the tackling

I noticed we were in the backfield multiple times but consistently either missed the tackle, or we didn't wrap up better. I noticed some things on offense too but I give them some slack because it was alot of new faces in a new offense. This isn't meant to be negative at all. I just hope we could fix this. If we do it will be one of the best defenses we ever had. We will suprise teams this year and it started week 1. If we be Auburn at home I'll start believing we are playoff bound.

Aranda will fix it. You know he's more agitated about the sloppy tackles than any one else.

Some of it was guys having so much momentum and flying right by Rosier. You’re right. We easily could have had more sacks/TFL.

There were alot of things this team can do better. Lots of correctable mistakes imagine how good they can be if they play their best football. I liked what I saw from a first game with little experience on the field.

Yes you know the saying.. The biggest improvement is from the first game to the second usually. I'm hoping Miami runs the table like Oregon did after beating them in 2011. Maybe Miami is legit and LSU is just that nasty.

I hope they do too. Shouldn't be that hard playing in the ACC

Certainly I agree BUT the TARGETED Rulings have given Running Backs a new advantage that will take some figuring out as well as the obvious concern of being thrown out of the game

To be fair, this is a problem across all of college and pro ball. Everybody looking for the big spear hit. Saw it in a lot of games just yesterday.

Seems to me that if guys at least put their arms out as if they’re preparing to make a tackle, some of these ‘targeting’ calls won’t get made, because it looks more like incidental contact.

Hopefully they keep ejecting guys and players/coaches finally wake the frick up.
