I am critical of Miles but we had a great season last year. We play in the toughest conference and expecting to win the sec title year in year out just isn't going to happen. We lost by 7 to the BCSNC on the road and to Arkansas on the road...not exactly something to frown on. We also were a few plays away from having a few more losses.
It is a new season with a new OC so lets just be positive. Our offense may be top 30 this year and we could have lapses on defense and special teams that cause us a shot at SEC and BCSNT. So many things have to go right to make the BCSCG.

Flynn current location - > Backup on defending superbowl champion team. Practicing.
Russell current location -> co-op bookstore. buying books so he can go back to school.

If you can qualify Flynn's championship season that way, then you can qualify Miles's championship that way too.

Where is all of this rationality coming from on the Rant?
the ones that expect certain results are the ones that are always on here complaining. Even when the expectations are met...they'll find something else to complain about.

I agree that the '06 team underachieved. They should have done a much better job against the refs at Auburn.
