You would have a hard time convincing me some supernatural things aren't at play with how this season is going on.

Did I hear Dickin Vitale say anything about LSU and inspired play after losing a brother in the offseason?

Wayde we know you watching. We all recognize your presence every game baw. Continue balling up above. We got this.

You think he knows anything about any team not named Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, UNC? He made that pretty clear tonight.

Glad to see we have some rainbow bright believing folks here. I’m sure Kentucky didn’t have anyone watching over them for this game. Jesus hates Kentucky right? Just want some people to use a brain power from time to time.

What connection do any of the players for Kentucky have with a recently departed teammate?

Sharing the floor with each other, practices, games, as a group?

If you know of someone that is connected to the team somehow that close that has passed let me know dawg. I'm all good for it.

But, regardless his loss has an affect on thr players, staff, and family. Is he literally blowing in affect basket? No man, I know that.

It is called figurative of speech. I believe his loss and hiw he was lost to them can bring focus and determination that us hard to break. A driving force. A rallying cry.

But maybe that is above you bro. And if so I apologize.

If this team makes a big run in the tourney, watch this story finally get the attention it deserves. This team went through hell and look at them now. You can just see Wayde smiling that contagious smile after that win tonight. I always think about how well he would fit in with this team as a player and leader. RIP Wayde.

“”You would have a hard time convincing me some supernatural things aren't at play with how this season is going on. ”

You can change your language, but the above statement infers you believe in magic.

Inspiration/ motivation are completely different things than the ghost of a dead person influencing game play.

Please don’t change your tone to pretend you didn’t infer that you believe supernatural influences are guiding this season. Thats just plain wrong.

I said Wayde had something to do with the KY shot not going down near the end of the game when it bounced out of the basket.

That is specifically different from what he/she said. Motivation/inspiration —- all fine. Dead dude coming back from the dead to influence games? Magical thinking with no basis in reality.

Speaking of this, why aren't LSU players wearing some kind of patch in remembrance of Sims? Is there a NCAA rule prohibiting it?
Seems like a no brainer. 44 patches!!

I haven’t really watched much LSU basketball until this season but had Wayde Sims not died, what role would he have played on this team, how many minutes would he have played, expected ppg?

Me too!
And I wear my “Wayde 44” limprinted shirt to all games.. Go to any t shirt printer’s and have it put on your shirts.
I know damn well that Skylar plays for Wayde every night. Even when he’s just had a physics and anatomy test in 2 days

Even if people don't believe that Wayde is supernaturally affecting the game, his spirit is alive within each one of the players and they're playing for him and to honor his memory every day. He is absolutely having an impact on this team in one way or another.
