Don’t think people hate “him” more than they dislike his antics, attitude, lack of effort and soft approach in certain parts of the game.

In basketball, it’s pretty easy to see when a player has a selfish mentality and Watford has a selfish mentality. I think he’s a great talent but he isn’t the best scorer on this team and he tries to be sometimes. Days is efficient, smart is efficient, Thomas is getting there and starting to dish when picked up. Watford touches the ball and he’s trying to score. If he was playing like a team player his stock would be improving because he wouldn’t make all the dumb mistakes trying to be Superman.

the refs) are so fricking petty

I actually think the refs have given him a lot of leeway.

It has been a point of emphasis to call delay of game if the scoring team handles the ball after made baskets. Teams should know they CANNOT touch the ball after makes. But for some reason our lsu players continue to touch the ball after it goes through the hoop. I wince every single time just waiting on the T to be called

The technical issue is ongoing. It hurts the team.
But for him to have 1 rebound at 6’9”, 240 lbs is inexcusable. Rebounding is almost entirely about effort. He just doesn’t really seem to care about anything that isn’t offense/something he can flex about.

The refs prep for games/teams just like teams do for each other. Because LSU is getting a rep for certain activities, we will get less leeway than other teams. The officials know what Watford and others on the team are prone to do. Like it or not, if Watford and others will continue to get T's if they do the same (often immature) antics.

I thought the T on Watford was iffy. The state guy flopped and then was saying something as if he'd be steamrolled. But, I get why they called it.

Pretty sure the 2nd was on Wade for bitching at them for not calling a foul earlier. In their defense, I thought the refs let them play more than some refs which I liked.

The T on LaBLANK was terrible. Sure there was a little mustard on the hot dog, but he didn't overdo it. That was just a ref with his panties in a wad.

For what it's worth, he was on the point of that press/trap for a big portion of the game, and even when we drop back into zone, he's up top a lot. Hard to get tons of rebounds from there.

I don't hate the Tiger, I hate his undisciplined play that hurts the team, period. I hate that WW puts up with it. I cant stand a coach who is not tough on discipline.

This just means he can crash hard with no one blocking him out.
This seems like a weak excuse to me. Rebounding is about one thing...effort!
