Because he’s a damn good basketball player most of the time, unlike what people here say. LSU could have made a legit case for 3 first teamers with Smart as well. Outside of the big 4, production drops drastically. If we can get the big 4 to be on all in the same night, they could beat damn near anyone in the country.

Smart was our best all-around player this year. He was top 5 in the SEC in FG%, 3-point% and assists per game while shooting 82% from the line and being just outside the top 10 in steals per game. He shot 43% from 3 and had the highest % of anyone who shot as many as he did.
