Watching the miss st. Vs Virginia game

I’m still not understanding why LSU couldn’t lay down a sacrifice bunt to advance to a scoring position. Time after time why didn’t LSU bunt when they needed to? It’s frustrating to watch!

Looking like it might be an all ACC final at this point. State pitcher getting rocked. NC State looking good and so is UVA.

They tried bunting multiple times. The only consistent result was that our players aren't capable of bunting. Two foul balls and then a strike out.

our problem was no getting all these hits with RISP

Ever notice how well coached players square very early to sac bunt and ours square at the last second like it will fool somebody or like they're bunting for a hit.Most of our players are still moving around when the ball gets to home. Its no surprise that we can't execute. no coaching.

It seems like their ability to bunt has been questionable for years.
Baseball team lacks discipline just like the football team did under Miles.
The little things don't seem to be important. Always trying to out talent people.

The ACC has really good baseball right now. GT was also very impressive at times.

UVA has sound fundamentals and better pitching than I realized.

They've really turned their season around and won 6 elimination games. Dropped the first game in their regional and super.

Two things (1) "Lesticles" didn't care, or wasn't capable of teaching it (2) he didn't understand the value of advancing runners, or he didn't REQUIRE that every player be capable of bunting. It's called COACHING.

They couldn’t execute it. They tried it unsuccessfully quite a bit. Plus you are by the numbers playing for one run that inning. Anything more is a bonus. LSU was better at home runs than bunting. They were really good at striking out. That’s why I hope they hire Godwin. His teams are fundamentally sound.

The players we have never have been asked to bunt till they got to college and many of them were frosh.
All of them were likely the best hitters on their HS teams.

State's going to tie it up in the 8th after being no-hit entering the inning. UVA didn't close the game.
