You’re asking if the pitching was good as advertised after we completed a national championship season where an LSU pitcher led D1 in SO for only the second time in history, and the other was 3rd in SO with a 12-2 record?
No. He's making this thread to try to call me out because he's a low life piece of shite moron, with nothing better to do. Give me a little bit and I'll link the actual post that will just exactly how stupid he is.

Make sure you link where you said Reaves would be the starting 3B come mid season also.

Left Williams out but he was big a bunch of times.
No doubt he was he will be a big arm next year for us

Without his improvement/performance we probably wouldn't have the trophy.
I can agree with that
Moving him to the pen kind of jump started a few guys including Shores.

That's very true. I will take that every day and twice on Sunday

Yep. We don't need any of the ones you listed to be Evans/Cowan good. We just need to be able to depend on them to hold leads, or stop some bleeding when needed. What we have with Cowan and Evans is not sustainable. We need more from other people to win series against the top tier SEC teams.
What I said about the pitching. This was coming off a weekend where we only needed to use Cowan/Evans out of the pen. I simply said he would need more arms, and it's exactly what we got. Shores was that in a big way. Williams/Rizzy at times as well. Luckily Anderson and Eyanson were so good they limited the use of the pen in huge moments in the post season.
And here's what I said about Reaves/Braswell
quote:
I do think that as long as Reaves doesn't kill us with his glove then he should start against every SEC RH. I think his bat is that good. But Braswell hasn't hurt himself defensively, or offensively (in SEC play anyway). Only one can start
Braswell deserves the opportunities, despite his early season struggles, because we have seen him do well in the SEC before. Luckily Mizzou came in throwing 3 lefties so it gave Braswell a good shot early and he did well. That earns him more opportunities going forward. Reaves is at his heels though. I'm sure you will see both play.
I simply pointed out that Braswell was a better defender and Reaves was a better hitter. Do you really want to argue that isn't the case?
Reaves did kill us with his glove, and also didn't hit well enough to overcome what we lost not having Braswell at third.
What about any of this is inaccurate enough for you to bring it up 6,000 times on this board? Plus now make a thread attempting to call me out about it?

Nope that's not the link cowboy. You posting what you want to link. Go find the correct link where you said the pitching was not as good as advertised and where you said Reaves did not forget how to hit, that he hit in Juco and hit 28 HR's
Go find that and then we can talk.
I will be right here im not going anywhere

Why don't you link it? You repeat it nonstop, so you should easily have it available.

You have quite literally made about 20 post, whenever YOU were complaining about pitching saying that I said the pitching was as good as advertised. Now that the pitching improved throughout the season, you changed it to me saying the pitching was not as good as advertised.

Admins please deal with this moron. Or just ban me, so I can no longer post. Either way he makes this board absolutely unbearable.

Anderson and Eyanson were so damn good, it was fairly obvious, going into the postseason. that getting out of the 4 team regional was going to be more challenging than getting out of the super. Same for the opening round in Omaha vs the finals.

I thought the Regional and Super were not that tough. I think the draw we got was good. I mean lets be honest Little Rock, DBU, and West Virginia were average. Just my opinion.

Had one poster say it wasn't as good as advertised back around March i guess
Seriously dude? You're calling out other posters for shite takes? Maybe check out these nuggets of brilliance from you:
"Lol bro we not saving Cowan for any day. He's not pitching well and Jay trusts Williams more right now than Cowan. Match up or not Williams is coming in before Cowan from here on out."
"I do not want to see Shores unless we have a 10 run lead"
Get some self awareness and maybe look in a mirror.

There's one thing to have an opinion and another thing to belittle posters and bash posters like Hold That Tiger 10 does as well as Lester Earl. I'm not the only who who sees this other posters have commented on it as well. So if they can dish it out they should be able to take it as well right?

The development of this pitching staff was next level. Unbelievable job by Yeskie and the players. I also feel like our pitchers were mostly healthy all year.

All I can tell you is I saw your thread and immediately wondered why in the hell a shite poster would be calling out other posters for shite takes. Do with that what you want.
