Why can't we recruit Maucks, Flynns, JRs and Metts?
Wait, you do realize we recruited all those guys, right?

but yes les's tenure has been a shite show in terms of recruiting HS QBs. it was amazing to get mett, but mett had 2 years under great QB developers before even coming here. les has not developed 1 young QB in his ENTIRE 9 year tenure here

Ouch.

They were mobile when needed. My list contains "passers" that can actually read a D and throw good balls almost every time they line up.

why are you including the matts on that list? they were shite shows when tehy had to face Ds

go look up mauck's stats against good teams in 2003. he was fricking horrible

they've had a lot more success recently, as well as projecting to have more success, than any other regular opponent than ones not listed

4th in the West? While, in the same sentence earlier, you attack Florida? And then attack them again in this post? Da frick?

Yes, I'm asking why can't Les do the fricking same. IMO Jennings or Harris is not a QB that will get us another NC

All recruited by jimbo/saban except mett who went to Georgia and got kicked off the team.

your list contains guys who all took time to develop and were pretty bad in their early years...

it is 100% true, though

and i actually somewhat defend les on this point. schools like miami and FSU basically went on decade droughts due to QB issues. with our mediocre-shite QB play we haven't dipped that low. that "avoiding the bottom" characteristic is a worthy variable for les

but it has hampered our ability to hit a ceiling...most notably in 2011 when we were STACKED

That's why we run the ultra conservative offense. Les is the Marty Schottenheimer of CFB....except he has a title.

McElroy and McCarron won 3 titles between them. They were both solid SEC Qb's

UF had an outlier year in 2012 but has been pretty bad otherwise. 6-6 in 2011 and 4-8 last year. 8-4 in 2010 iirc

if you're going to criticize TAMU for 8-4 last year, then what do you say about UF's inverse record?
