Was hiring Canada and encouraging him to move on after year 1, in the binder?

This is so embarrassing. O should be embarrassed by this. How can you say things like "We'll be in the playoffs next year" and "We're coming" and "We have a plan in place to win a NC in the next 3 years", when you scrambled to get Canada and now you don't even know who will be your OC next year OR what type of offense it will be.
"O is one of us" - this couldn't be more true and I can gaurantee you, one of us has no business being head coach at LSU.

No, hiring Lane was in the binder.
Canada was just th next big thing.
I think wants a guy who can run the offense USC runs. Canada ain’t it.

All that we’ve read the last couple days is how inefficient an dumb Coach O is. There is not a single fact that you can point to or state that can back your speculation up.

What was his head coaching record when hired?

You sound like the biggest bitch on this board. You're already the dumbest cause Canada is still our OC. Where the hell are you getting your information

You're doing their job for less pay (beyond their capacity anyway), so of course frustration would brew even if subconscious. I'm very impressed with Aranda's cool head. I think he has a long-term goal in mind, LSU HC, especially when next year's rough waters come to shore. Basically the HC in waiting with no major head coaches on the market next year, other than Kiffin and Leach, who are brilliant minds, but apparently toxic/not easy for boosters/ADs to get along with/control.

Never said Canada left.
I'm saying it's clear Canada wants out and it's clear O wants him out too.
This tells me O did not vet Canada at all - just hired the second hottest OC at the time. That's fricking stupid! You can't win championships by just going after who's hot at the moment. And you certainly can't win championships with a different OC every.
My point is, O is already screwing this shite up and proving WHY and HOW he does not know what he's doing.

Do you have any idea how trite and stale "binder" threads are?
Time to move on with your melts.

The binder thing is worn out.

The reason your comment is so stupid is b/c head coaches always have to have the authority to make changes when they see something they don't believe is a good fit. Case in point: Saban quickly replaced Doug Nussmier as his OC when he determined it wasn't a good fit.
Orgeron is no Saban; however, if he believes Canada personally, and, his offense, aren't good fits here, then by all means he should seek a change.
I agree, it's not optimal. However, I honestly don't think it's as bad as some of you make it to be. If in fact Canada moves on and O hires a new OC, my question would be, why did you hire Canada in the first place? I'll be honest, it calls into question O's judgment. Point two: I think Canada is a good coach, and one of his strengths, as far as I perceive, is his ability to tailor the offense to the available personnel. So, I'd like to see him to stay, but, if he moves on, and O brings in a good replacement OC, I don't see why things shouldn't be fine moving forward.
