Very disappointed in J. Martin. Very slow, and did not have a lot of defensive efforts much of the game. Finally got on to that kid at the end but he has a very poor game and was a big part of why LSU struggled most of the night.
Josh Gray..... was Josh Gray.
Quaterman was excellent.
Mickey seemed to be a step slow on defense which is not normal for him.
A ugly road win is a good win.
Hope it was just a fluke for Jerrell. Very "lazy" night for him

Jarell Martin had 19 points, 12 rebounds, and was the No.1 reason the big white boy for Vandy didn't score once in the 2nd half. Shut the frick up.

Sometimes players develop bad habits when they are allowed to win against bad competition even they are not performing as coached...jmho...a good coach always try to demand perfection, even though they can't expect it every game...of course, it helps to have a deep bench so that laziness can be disapproved of by sitting said player...as the team gets more depth hopefully each year, coach will have more options and can substitute more freely and not hurt chances of winning...jmho

For real.
And people bash on Martins D non stop.... His defensive rating in 18th in the SEC, 2nd on LSUs team out of the starters, and is 5th in the SEC in defensive win shares.
Yet people act like he just gives up buckets all game long. He's not an elite defender by any means, but he's not as bad as people act like.

Everyone played well, except for Gray. Yeah, there were some breakdowns and they struggled from the line, but dang, most of our better guys are playing huge minutes....They are tired..

We were 4 point underdogs on the road. We pulled the upset. Be happy with the win.

I'll never bash a team for a road win in conference play, no matter how ugly it is. Please.
