I think it is great that Micah is a switch hitter. Do you mind sharing how he became one?
At what age did he decide to try to become a switch hitter? Did it come naturally or did he have to work at it?

Started in the living room with those little souvenir bats (big around as a broomstick) and soft ping-pong balls. Good for hand-eye coord. He experimented with it off and on until finally his summer coach during high school told him, if he is going to do it, do it or else forget about it. So that summer regardless of the situation, batted left when right hander was on the mound.
