Arik Gilbert has not sat out as of yet. He just transferred to Nebraska. Can’t remember if that is #2 or #3. So I think Dart can get a waiver to transfer.

He had mental health issues at play that might be impacting that. I’m not sure when the enforcement of the new rules is set to take effect, so you could be right. It’s for the 2023-24 school year, but it wasn’t clear if that was effective for seasons during that school year or for transfers that occur during the year. I think the cutoff is enrollment during the 2022-23 school year, which would allow Gilbert to transfer now, but Dart would have to sit out to transfer in the Fall.

So how is JT Daniels transferring to his 4th school without sitting?

Like I said, I think enrollment for the Spring semester allows players to transfer ahead of the new rules taking effect.

Thanks. I was curious if he was going to have sit out next year at Neb. I hope the kid is mentally and physically ready and shows out!

Walker Howard = Myles Brennan.

Will know for sure in 2-3 years but I think 90%+ that’s where he will be.

History shows QBs transferring to other SEC schools doesn’t work out too great for them.

WH was saddled with his dad's baggage.

The one thing Jamie guarded against was WH playing program or coach's savior (as he was compelled to do with Curly in '92). When WH "committed" to us perhaps that didn't seem too far-fetched. Myles or Max was no longer in the picture and Nuss seemed like a wild-arse of QB in '21.

Frankly, I think CBK was as accommodating as he could reasonably be. But now camp Howard has noticed a reversed polarity. It was no longer about playing too early it had become about playing too little.

In a sober moment, one ought to ask the dad where did he think WH would go that the above scenario would not be the case? Either you're gonna be to a lean roster where playing (too) early is a very real possibility or you're gonna have to get in line and maybe have a quasi-guarantee of starting in Y4.

I hope CBK takes that traitor's scholly and gives it to someone who loves LSU indeed.

Did you know that Jamie Howard was a top baseball prospect in the Braves organization? 2nd round pick for the Braves.
He played baseball for the Braves in the summer then played football for LSU.
He ruined his arm playing football.

When someone posted, Daniels is sacrificing his body for LSU, that is exactly what Jamie did.
