Waiting for game day to buy tickets.

Anyone waiting until game day to get tickets? That’s been my plan to get a better price, but I’m starting to question if it’s going to work. I don’t want to end up with crap seats at a better price.

It'll work out, just make sure you have the seating chart handy if you do buy outside the stadium

I’m in the same boat. We ( wife and I) flying in Saturday morning. We staying in Arlington at Candlewood Suites. The 300 section has already dropped $100 a seat(seat geek) but I’m thinking of waiting game day also

There will be plenty of tickets available

The stadium holds 100k. There won't be THAT many LSU fans there. There will be far less Miami fans and I doubt the casual DFW fan is going to pay $100-$300+ to attend the game. All that to say, Supply far exceeds demand based on the face value price.
I don't think there is any real chance that you won't be able to at least find a ticket or two right before gametime. But if you wait, you may be able to get a really good seat at far less than face value.

I sell all of my season tix to a friend who lives in Lousiana. Every game I decide to come back in town for, he has at least two he cant get rid of that he gives me. Lol

That was my plan but one of the guys we are going with thought he was getting a good deal on 4 tickets from one of his vendors and jumped on it. He got fricked and now we are paying almost face value for tickets in the corner of the end zone which i cant stand. I think you can find some good deals on tickets the day of the game.

That’s my plan. I’m not paying full price when I can watch on my couch.

Prices of tickets on Seat Geek are dropping everyday. You can already find some good deals. If you hold out another day or two you'll be set or just find something at the game.
I'm dumb and bought mine last week and could have saved $40 a ticket

That’s what we will be doing. Tickets are dropping big time on line.

Still like $60 for seats on the 50 in the 400s where you’ll be watching the screen all game. $120 for the same experience as your couch.
