+1....Ford this year=Keiland Williams
I'm not saying Ford's career will run the same path as KW, but his running style and whatnot looks awful similar to me.
I feel more comfortable with Ware in the backfield honestly.

Lot of people in here that have absolutely no idea what they are talking about are disparraging a good kids name.
STFU morons.

If you mean that Ford is a great RB, but even has a little bit better RB in front of him, then I agree 100%.

this is why Ridley is considering going pro, he cant pass classes
He's obviously a smart guy if you've ever heard him speak.
If he's having school problems, it's about effort, not ability.
Agreed. It is his fourth year of school after all. It must not be a total disaster if Miles has hopes of getting him reinstated.

but ford is just a straight up animal .. i think he can do what ridley does between the tackles with a little more speed to take it the distance if he gets the touches ..
I don't think I saw Ford break one tackle all season so that is a fail

What is ridley's projected draft stock? 3rd round? 4th?

Did Les say by whom he had been "ruled ineligible"? Meaning...was it an athletic department ruling, NCAA ruling, Dean of Students ruling? The rumors are flying hot and heavy here on campus today. Phones are ringing off the hook with people who supposedly "know the story".

I'd also like to add that Miles lied about why Akiem Hicks wasn't playing early in 2009. He said one week it was illness, then 2 weeks later it was "a foot, ankle something" and then was never asked about it again. We all know now why he wasn't playing.
He might be misleading us again.

Watching the video link says "it was an NCAA academic issue".

Our best offensive player is ruled ineligible before the bowl game and we're not supposed to speculate on why? Get real.

Are you sure you aren't confusing Ford and Russell Sheppard?

Let me help you all out. He probably decided he was going pro some time ago and therefore took it upon himself to slack off. IMO
On purpose or not, I think this makes hime G-O-N-E!

Then why hasn't he done that yet. We have no other back nearly as good as Ridley right now, period.

Pretty much
Ridley is a decent RB, but if he can't be a leader in the classroom, he can't be a leader on the field IMO.
