You reading this Joe?

Wow, another move that makes everyone love Alleva. When is this jackass gonna go?

I am assuming that all athletes are advised of the drug testing policy, just like any employee of any company would be. If they have not been educated about the policy, then the fault lies with the administration and the penalty has to be adjusted accordingly. However, everyone here is making "assumptions" based on what has been made public regarding the suspensions. To assume tha we have the full story is laughable.

and it was WAFB who reported that LSU would be in the Rose Bowl a few years ago.
ALWAYS take what they say with a grain of salt.

I've stated my opinion based on what has been made public. If it were my program, and an athlete failed a drug test in-season, he would sit. But if it were my program, the athletes would also be made very much aware of the drug testing policy and ramifications. If there is more to the story than a 1st time failure of a drug test, then my punishment would be revised.
What's laughable are the people saying there should be no punishment ("it's just pot") or those saying the punishment has already been served, when we don't really know what the offense was.

Youre tilting at windmills buddy, no one in this thread has said that, and those that do are by far a low %.

Considering that Les has said they are practicing and will play vs Bama barring any setbacks why would u think the punishment has not been served already?
Yeah I guess he could be making them do gases at practice or have put some informal curfew on the guys but for all practical purposes they were punished by sitting out the Auburn game and that is over.

I'm leaving Alleva out of this equation. From day 1 I've been against his hire and questioned why LSU even considered him for the position, as he totally fricked up the Duke lacrosse situation. How can I leave him out of the equation you ask? I personally think Miles is being left alone to run his program and he would tell Alleva to frick off if he tried to step in.
That's just my opinion of course.

we gave this assclown alleva a raise. His basketball hire has been a failure, he ruined duke lax and now he is hurting football

Face it, with Les, those of us who reside outside of the program will never know what's really going on within the program. He keeps tight-lipped (like he should), and says very little of substance. We do know from the RP-experience that he gives players many chances before taking firm action (unless of course he's changed based on the RP-experience ... that we do not know). So we really don't know what rule was broken or how severely.

Hell, I guarantee it! No more "mistakes."

CLM handled the issue with class keeping it an internal issue, NCAA says they do not have a dog in the hunt, so please explain why ALeva thinks he is smarter than everyone else.

Your opinion. I think Miles has been given the reigns to run his program and Alleva is a puppet wrt football.

Did you ever get into a barfight?
Did you ever smoke whacky tobaccky . . . or worse?
Ever commit sodomy perhaps?
Ever have Joe Alleva's office leaking personal info to that effect to the national media? No? Then STFU.

NC isn't saying if, NC is saying Alleva is trying to meddle and Miles is telling him to F off, in which case if Alleva is meddling not including him in the equation of what's going on is stupid

Perhaps you thought that's what you said.
But you actually continued focus on the 19y/o players (who have been harshly penalized), and deflected focus from Joe Alleva (who presumably you and I understand is an abject moron).
