Looks like they're giving up. Voted...but I think Death Valley has this one in the bag.

TammanyMan,
You couldn't be more wrong.
Penn State had the same type of lead last round on A&M. They not only caught up, but passed them and made Penn St. fans give-up. Thus allowing them to win 55% to 45%.
Just keep voting!

If it looks like they are giving up why are they cutting into the lead...go vote!

I think I have better things to do than vote for a stupid poll repeatedly... but, thanks.
And we have a lead of well over a thousand votes. A&M fans may be dedicated, but I doubt they will overcome that... even if LSU fans don't vote the rest of the time.

LSU isn't even close LSU doesn't have near the history or tradition of A&M. Plus, their academics are an absolute joke compared to A&M's. That being said, Tiger Stadium is a great atomosphere, but not quite as good as Kyle Field. A&M wins this one. I should know, I am currently a student at A&M and finished my 130 hour degree from LSU in 3 years. What a joke of a school academically. Nobody should vote for a bunch of drunk, toothless, !@#$%s from LSU. Nothing personal, just my opinion since I have attended both schools.

Well, you have enough time to post about it so you may as well vote or not try to discourage others that are having fun from voting. It's obvious you have never visited A&M or you are an Aggie imposter posing as an LSU fan.
Last night LSU was up by almost 2000 votes - 86% to 14%. Twelve or so hours later, it's 67% to 33%
So unless this is like golf and the lowest score wins, LSU is in trouble.

67%-33% with 5357 votes.
I echo what's been said already, this ISN'T in the bag. The Aggies are going bot this vote for the remaining six days, just as they did against Penn State. Penn State started out with a big lead just like we did, and lost on the last day.
VOTE! Vote early, vote often.
WE CAN'T LOSE TO A TACKLE BOX!

Aristo,
Not sure who made that quote, but to that person, I too have attended both.
I can tell you that A&M is a brain-washing/cult-like machine that squeezes the fun out of going to college. I found Texas's campus and student body to be much more "human" and "realistic" since moving to the state. A&M still thinks they are the best at everything (including football) at all times. That's how they are trained which is cool until you lose touch with reality. Then it's scary.

It was one of the comments on the voting page. I have never been to Texas A&M, but I have never heard of a person not wearing maroon that actually likes anyone from A&M.

It is unbelievable. It's as if they built the school. Then, college station. Then, put a fence around the town. Then, made everyone within the fence love the school more than life itself.
The academics are very good as it is at many institutions, but they'll have you believe it's Harvard, Yale, Rice, etc. all rolled up into one.
They really lookout for one another after graduation using their class rings as an identifier. Works well for them in the Texas employment community. And the governor, Rick Perry, is an A&M grad. Bush, Sr.'s presidential library is there. SecDef Bill Gates was their president when he accepted the position to go back to D.C. -- and so on.
I wouldn't be surprised if they have the corps of cadets and freshmen duct-taped to computer terminals voting around the clock.

Everyone should take the next 5 to 10 minutes to vote repeatedly.
