I was just looking over DandyDon's depth chart yesterday and was surprised at the number of upperclassmen potentially starting.

That's 9 upperclassmen starting on each side of the ball. Most postions are backed up by sophmores. A trouble spot on O might be the RT spot, but there's enough experience on the line to be able to move players around and cover. It's the secondary on D that is again our biggest problem area, imo. I know a lot of people are concerned about the depth on the DL, but we at least don't have to rely on freshmen as backups.

Not defending dandydon but with the majority of newcomers still not on campus it's tough to project where they will be by the end of august right now.

No doubt, but my point was that we still have a lot of upperclassmen that at least could start. If a lowerclassman takes the starting spot fromm one of these guys, it means he's probably a special talent.
