Can see us scoring a bit more and them getting 10 or so if we play a lot of back-ups, which should happen. If we lose would be the worst point spread loss ever for LSU, way ahead of 28.5 loss at home to Tulane in 1982...BTW vs Troy we were 21 point favorite..

I think we cover and exceed the point total but I would never bet on a game like this because there are too many variables.

52-10

also could see 40-7... Coach O said he was great friends with the opposing coach so maybe he doesn't run it up that bad

If I were a betting man, I'd bet the under and not the spread.
I'm thinking something like 35-3.
But I'm not a betting man because I don't know anything about it so my thoughts on the matter are completely irrelevant.

I don't think O is the type to run it up anyway. There would be nothing to gain from running up on the score on SLU.

I agree with all of this. I just don't think he is going to be able to help it. With such a young team on offense they have no choice but to get these kids quality work. It is going to get ugly without LSU even trying.

LSU 61 SLU 10

Once a comfortable lead is establish this is the game where you work in 2nd and 3rd team guys to get them some game speed reps plus you're probably keeping the playbooks rather simple in preparation for Auburn.

I think O knows this is a statement year. I expect them to be up big going into the 3rd and start slinging it with Myles.

I mean frick it, why not? As soon as I was up 3 or 4 TDs I’d go 5 wide with Myles and just start carving them the frick up.

The first game clearly indicates LSU doesn't believe in running up the score so I'm taking the under.

The offense needs work going into Auburn. Shame on 0 if he wastes this game

They'll score st least a TD. Their QB played at Fresno for a minute I think. They have a few D1 transfers. I'll say 38-14.

So if we achieve that in the first quarter, you sit Burrow the rest of the game? He needs all the reps, at least a full 3 quarters, if not more.

You want to play him for 4 quarters against an FCS school with Auburn next week? So you want him taking hits if they’re up by 4 TDs?

Give burrow one half at a minimum. Happy now?
