Basically back to back doubles by 8 and 9 and you only score one. Nice.

Ronnie makes a good point about how/why were are so bad hitting agains LHP. Not only do we have a ton of LHP to face in intra-squad, but he have a very right-handed heavy hitting lineup. It should be the exact opposite.

It's sad that there's no leadership from returning players like Trav, Pearson, Hurd, Milazzo, etc. seems they all regressed

I really don’t care if we lose 5-1 if Cam just dominates the rest of the game and earns himself some more playing time.

Probably because he’s owning us outside of Kling’s hit.

They aren't a team. Just a group of players

It’s tough for any hitters to hit when the other pitcher or team feels no pressure what so ever. They feel free and even if they make a mistake they don’t feel threatened. It’s the coaches job to apply that pressure and make them uncomfortable and give your team opportunities outside of the long ball.

I.e. Kentucky isn’t the most talented squad but they put pressure and cause cracks

At this point it might be better to just play all our young players.

Travinski has been quite disappointing this season. This team really needed him to reach another level and be a consistent producer and he just hasn’t.

Just another part of this baffling 2024 product

Outside of Hurd, those other players had a lot of protection in the lineup they don’t have anymore. Made hitting a lot easier with Morgan, Crews, Beloso, Dugas, and Jobert. There were no breaks 1-9.

I also don’t think Milazzo has regressed. He just barely plays anymore

2 pitches, 2 free bases in a row. Johnson gives up a ton of those
