Towards the end of the show, he's going to do a small segment on his experience

SVP basically gushed over Baton Rouge and Tiger Stadium and the LSU Tigers for 5 solid minutes.
Started off blaring "Calling Baton Rouge" - talked about hearing the Tiger Rag and said it was AWESOME
Apologized to Madison, Wisconsin and said "FOR THREE HOURS ON SATURDAY NIGHT, I DON'T KNOW THAT THERE HAS EVER BEEN AN ATMOSPHERE IN SPORTS THAT I HAVE BEEN A PART OF THAT WAS AS MEMORABLE TO ME"
"I have never seen something that felt like that, or heard something that was as sustained as that."
Praised Spencer Hall's article after the 2007 Florida game and said he was absolutely right
"I don't know what boudin is but I want some now. I think they put bourbon on their toothbrush"
"What we saw Saturday night, is something that won't soon leave me. Just cause I felt so incredibly fortunate to be there on a night when they were playing with their pride on the line, after what happened in the title game. They wanted to prove a point to Alabama, and they did ALL of that."
"It was better than I was told it was."
"Yall did it as good as it can be done."
"There is nothing beyond it. There is nothing that I have seen that I would put ahead of it in any sport."
"Just in terms of the vibe, and what it was, it is SEARED IN MY BRAIN."

I hope LSU had every recruit in the country there...Makes me wonder if Les really is such a good recruiter, or is it the mystique, pride and tradition of the overall program that lures top recruits to Baton Rouge. Maybe it's the parting, T&A and good food.

The entire North End Zone was full of recruits during Pregame and the Student Section gave them a something to remember when they took the field.

I have always liked him. He is usually brutally honest and is not a typical kiss arse

Some more highlights (not verbatim):
He was talking about going to Madison WI and that they have this great sandwich. He said down here, we would have balled it up and deep fried it, then put it in a cup with Bourbon and drink it.
He said they were walking around and he asked a girl what she was drinking. She said "oh, just a little crown and water".
SVP: Where in the world do females just go around drinking Crown Royal and water?
Russillo: In Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
He said that he was on the flight home and was a little depressed because he didn't want it to end. He wanted to the game, the tension, the exitement, the noise, to keep going for his own amusement.
He want to stay in the purple and gold place, so festive, like Mardi Gras.
He said he loved it when the stadium yelled LOUISIANA for Callin' Baton Rouge. He said he didn't know the words but he didn't care because he was so amused.
Above all, he said that he's been able to watch a lot of big games, but it was a privelege to be here for this game.
He couldn't say enough nice things about his time in BR... and most of this was aafter his One Big Thing segment. He said he just doesn't want to stop talking about it.
Good job Tiger fans. We have it good.

He really does.
Always has been supportive and never condescending like SOME other ESPN folk.
